About me

As life unfolds, it often presents challenges that require us to adjust and adapt. Good therapy facilitates a clearer understanding of the obstacles and how to overcome them to create the life we want. My approach is empathic and intellectually curious and collaborative, always keeping your goals in mind. My clients describe me as warm, active, nonjudgmental, direct, and a gifted listener. I am also highly attuned to children and teens, and have developed strong relationships with even the most "difficult to reach" kids. I've watched relationships with family members, peers, and teachers shift and become less problematic. At our initial meeting, we will focus on what brings you to therapy and what you hope to achieve during this personal process.

Together we will work to understand your goals and challenges, examine patterns in your relationships, and explore beliefs about yourself. Understanding these issues can facilitate positive change.

My more niche specialties include premarital and marital therapy with couples experiencing communication impasse, uncoupling, and rekindling a relationship; therapy with founders, tech execs, and co-founder therapy; child psychology; South Asian issues; trichotillomania and other BFRB's; and Exposure and Response Prevention.
